Monday, March 19, 2007Pet food PerilsSeriously folks, who writes this stuff? This is an actual lead-in to a story for tonight's news about the pet food recalls. Reporter: The only toy Coco is playing with tonight is an IV tube in her left paw. (cut to a shot of the unfortunate kitty and its paw) I had to laugh when I heard this. The line was said so seriously, it was almost a parody of itself! Please know I would never belittle a serious situation involving the health of our pets. This quote, however, does just that! It makes me wonder if the writer was aware of the humor of the situation when he or she wrote this line.
